What Is Social Bookmarking ?

So where does “Social Bookmarking” fit into the Web 2.0 revolution?? As you might have guessed, “Social Bookmarking” focuses on user generated content and a strong user-base. To give you a really good picture of what Social Bookmarking really is, I want you to look at the “Web 1.0” directory website that has been such an important part in Webmaster’s success on the Internet:
This link directory is just a site where webmasters submit their website details and URL in the hope that it gets “approved” and listed in the directory. That’s great, but a few years ago, some Silicon Valley dudes actually realised that hardly anyone actually browsed these link directories for fun. I mean, look at it – I wouldn’t like to browse around there for a few seconds let alone a few minutes!

Anyway, these guys came up with a new idea “Social Bookmarking”. They would build a site which allowed literally anyone to create an account and submit links to much like an open directory, however they would allow the community to control what links were most prominent and visible. They called it bookmarking simply because it was designed for the common internet user to keep a list of their “favourites” online which they can access any time. The social aspect emerged as everybody’s links are visible to every other user of the site.

How to Earn Money Thru Youtube

Monetization and YouTube

Understanding the monetization of YouTube ecosystems will let you choose which ads to run better and even how to market their content and channel. It is helpful to think of your channel like a business: many creators want the work they put into their pay channels. All content that you put out is your job, so do not just want to be attractive to your audience, but also to advertisers and potential sponsors. Most advertisers look great content channels completely safe. Continually creating videos that are advertiser environment can help put you in a good position to build business relationships with advertisers, PR firms and sponsors.

The four key players

There are four key players in the ecosystem YouTube monetization (shown in video examples below):

The spectators - people who like and watch your videos
Creators - you and others like you who create great videos on YouTube
Advertisers - companies seeking different ways to reach and target new or existing audiences
YouTube -'s own video-hosting platform, helping the ecosystem to thrive
These four main players work together to provide a cohesive platform sustainable entertainment. YouTube is successful when you succeed - we want to help you achieve your goals. Load the videos that viewers want to see, and each view creates an opportunity to sell advertising for YouTube. When YouTube sold advertising and an ad running in the video (and your viewers see through that ad), YouTube shares of that revenue with you, the creator.

Benefits

What are the benefits of this ecosystem? Well, that provides an environment for anyone to share their passion with the world and earn money doing something they love. Creating great videos, build your audience and participation in their community, meet like-minded people, and generating a stream of income doing something you love, everything is possible on YouTube.

Latest updates for Digital Marketing Techniques in 2014

What are the major trends in digital marketing for 2014?

To help define what we rehearsed our informal survey this year asking intelligent Insights readers:

Please select an area of marketing that you believe will give you more business benefits in 2014 In the survey, please select the most important trend in terms of what you think will make the biggest difference shopping for leads or sales in your business, or a typical client if you are an agency or consultant. Thank you!
The results are below and show a familiar patterns with the same 3 "usual suspects" rated the most important trade.

-marketing-2014 digital trends
Activities digital marketing rated the most important business success for 2014 n = 637 Note that the Social CRM was not included in the survey in 2013

So it seems that the three major areas of investment in marketing for 2014 are likely to continue to be the mobile marketing and content and big data in many companies. The most important change is in mobile marketing, where there is a decline in popularity, perhaps suggesting an awareness of the difficulty of encouraging customers to buy rather than browser through this channel.

But I like to think that conversion rate optimization and marketing automation will increase investment as they are on the process and performance improvement, so that they can deliver returns potentially less risk than other activities.

Since the major trends in high level, the "usual suspects" are likely to be similar to 2014, this year I thought it would be interesting and useful to drill deeper to see specific digital marketing technologies and techniques will be important trends in 2014 I structured the trends based on marketing to achieve different objectives through the points of contact with customers as part of the planning Insights smart race. There are 22 trends that I see on the basis of companies I've worked with, the examples I've looked at and our own marketing activity Smart Insights.
